Getting around Branson

What to know about traffic and the trolley.

West 76 Country Boulevard

Hotels, restaurants, shows and attractions line West 76 Country Boulevard. The city has announced roadwork on the stretch of Shepherd of the Hills Expressway toward the Branson Ferris wheel, planned for about 20 months. Expect temporary lane closures. No full road closures are planned, and business entrances are meant to stay open.

Sparky trolley

The free downtown trolley has 12 stops, and a round takes 20 to 30 minutes. It runs on weekends only in January and February from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., and daily from March to December from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. It does not run on Thanksgiving, Christmas or in dangerous weather. The trolley covers downtown, not the caves.

Where to sleep

Branson West is a sensible base for Talking Rocks. The West 76 corridor puts you close to hotels and shows. See where to stay for the areas.
